Summary
We’re seeking an organized, people-first Assistant Manager to help run daily shop operations, lead the team, and deliver a great client experience. You’ll support the Manager with scheduling, team coaching, inventory, and front-of-house service.
Key Responsibilities

Operations: Open/close procedures, cash handling, deposits, POS reconciliation, end-of-day reports.

Team Leadership: Assist with scheduling, coverage, training, and coaching; help onboard new barbers/stylists; uphold service standards.

Client Experience: Greet clients, resolve issues, manage waitlists/appointments, ensure a clean, welcoming shop.

Sales & Marketing: Promote add-on services, retail, memberships; support social media/promos; track targets.

Compliance & Safety: Enforce sanitation per state board; maintain tool/equipment logs; ensure policy adherence.

Inventory: Track backbar/retail stock, place orders, receive shipments, control shrink.

Facilities: Coordinate maintenance and cleanliness standards.
Requirements

1–2+ years in a salon/barber shop or retail/service leadership role (lead, keyholder, supervisor, or similar).

Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Comfortable with POS, scheduling, and basic reporting.

Reliable, punctual, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

(Preferred) Active Barber or Cosmetology license.
